Lok Sabha passes Citizenship Amendment Bill after 12 hours of debate. @Parliament



Hai, Yesterday the parliament introduce the new bill to is Citizenship Amendment Bill, and After a long 12-hours debate and the bill has passed at Lok Sabha. Although 311 parliamentarians voted for the bill, 80 voted against. Minister Amit Shah presents Monday's controversial bill in Lok Sabha as the majority of student unions regional political parties are opposed to the demonstrations and violence in the Northeastern States. The bill has a contentious one.


Whatever is Citizenship Amendment Bill 


Who and why may obtain Indian citizenship has regulated under the Citizenship Act of 1955. Anyone who is born in India has an Indian parentage or has been living there over some time etc may become an Indian citizen.
